$6 Million Annual Savings on Supply Chain Process Improvement Projects for a Global 100 Company
Led Supply Chain Improvement projects in North America for a Global 100 conglomerate. Projects were in a wide range of industries that included Medical Devices, Consumer Electronics, Lighting and Semiconductors. Initiatives ranged from complete redesign of the plan/source/make/deliver processes on a product line's chain to Procurement contract negotiations.
Process improvements involved large collaborative teams, aligned to achieve benefits that often included inventory reduction, SC visibility, optimization and process standardization all with the objective of lowering total cost of ownership or improving quality through innovative solutions that often involved technology.
LEAN Transformation for a World-Class Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Site

Coached executive leadership and engaged with management and operations for hands-on Continuous Improvement projects to employ a LEAN management system coupled with Six Sigma tools and principles. Initiatives were aligned to make improvements to Production Capacity, Yield, eliminating waste, Standard work, 5S, Kanban Replenishments systems and reduction of setup-times (SMED).
Weekly coaching sessions with the Director of Production help drive Lean Thinking through the Operations organization and resulted in improved efficiencies in production, lead-times and yields.
Global Sourcing Innovation - Fortune 50 Retailer
Functional Lead, responsible for gathering & assessing business requirements for a multi-billion dollar enterprise's selection and implementation of an innovative, global sourcing software platform. Compiled current state assessment and completed an enhancement to global sourcing processes. Managed a large global team on a project that spanned 16 months.
The results equipped the Enterprise with a scalable platform that enabled them to manage their supplier base , all purchase orders transactions and catalog of items with 50% efficiency improvements in areas of accuracy, lead-times and costs.
Global Bill of Materials Program
TV Manufacturing Site
Designed an inbound supply chain program to equip a consumer electronics (TV) operation with a standard process to manage inbound bill of materials from their global supply based. Scope included Purchase Orders, confirmations, estimated delivery dates and visibility to enable tracking of P/O Management and inbound shipments. A Performance KPI scorecard and program SOP were key deliverables that led to a successful program. Project resulted in a cost savings of over USD 1.5 million in its first year and included all key material suppliers.

World Finals-Quality Improvement Competition
A complete redesign on the inbound supply chain of a portfolio leading Medical imaging device. Scope included coordinating a change to the Master Production Schedule for a 3rd Party supplier of a key component to the imaging device along with coordination with an overseas 3rd Party logistics provider and steamship line that eventually would land the product on the east coast of the US and feed into a merge-in-transit program that delivered the unit to a hospital or clinic. The project was awarded as the top North American Project, demonstrating continuous improvement and delivering a savings of USD 750,000 and was a runner-up at the Philips Word Finals - Quality Improvement competition.
